Not logged in, your PANs stay in this browser only. Logged in, they are saved to your account on this site's own server, encrypted, so they follow you to any device. To check automatically, a PAN is sent to that registrar through this server and is never logged. Registrars that cannot be checked automatically are a link instead, and nothing is sent for those at all. The full wording.

none saved yetCheck asks the registrar right here for KFin, MUFG Intime (Link Intime), Bigshare, Maashitla, Skyline, Purva, MAS, Mudra and Abhipra issues, for every PAN you have saved — only the issue whose Check you press. An issue with no Check has no allotment out yet; the button appears by itself once the registrar publishes it. Where it shows Check ↗, the registrar's own page opens instead, with your first PAN already copied — those registrars ask for a code before they answer, so it has to be done there.
