IPO Allotment Status — Check Multiple PANs

Check multiple PANs at once — yours and your family’s — with the registrar holding each issue.

Your PANs

none saved yet

Kept in this browser only.

Check asks the registrar right here for KFin, MUFG Intime (Link Intime), Bigshare, Maashitla, Skyline, Purva, MAS, Mudra and Abhipra issues, for every PAN you have saved — only the issue whose Check you press. An issue with no Check has no allotment out yet; the button appears by itself once the registrar publishes it. Where it shows Check ↗, the registrar's own page opens instead, with your first PAN already copied — those registrars ask for a code before they answer, so it has to be done there.

Your PANs stay in this browser only. To check automatically, a PAN is sent to that registrar through this server and is never logged. Registrars that cannot be checked automatically are a link instead, and nothing is sent for those at all. The full wording.

How to check IPO allotment status

The allotment of an IPO is decided by its registrar — the company the issuer appoints to collect the applications, run the allotment and credit the shares. Once the basis of allotment is fixed, the registrar publishes the result, and anyone who applied can look it up with their PAN, application number or demat account number.

      On this page

      • Add the PANs you applied with — yours and your family's — once. A name after each PAN is optional.
      • When an issue's allotment is out, a Check button appears next to it. Press it and every saved PAN is checked with the registrar in one go.
      • For a registrar that asks for a security code first, Check ↗ opens its own page with your first PAN already copied.

      On the registrar's website

      • Open the registrar's IPO allotment page and choose the company from the list.
      • Pick PAN (or application number, or demat account), enter it and submit.
      • The result shows the shares applied for and the shares allotted — zero if none.

      Other places to see it

      • BSE and NSE both have an allotment status page for the issues listing with them.
      • Your bank or UPI app: if nothing is allotted, the blocked amount is released. A release in full usually means no allotment.
      • Your demat account: allotted shares are credited before the listing day.

      The timeline (SEBI's T+3)

      • T — the issue closes for bidding.
      • T+1 — the basis of allotment is fixed and the status goes up.
      • T+2 — money is unblocked for those not allotted, and shares are credited to demat accounts for those who are.
      • T+3 — the shares list on the exchange.

Each issue's own dates are on the IPO calendar.

      Registrars you can check here

KFin Technologies, MUFG Intime (formerly Link Intime), Bigshare Services, Maashitla Securities, Skyline Financial, Purva Sharegistry, MAS Services, Mudra Registry and Abhipra Capital. Every other registrar has a direct link to its own allotment page.

How shares are allotted when an issue is oversubscribed

When retail investors apply for more than is on offer, the registrar holds a computerised lottery so that as many applicants as possible get the minimum of one lot; applying for more lots does not improve the chance of getting the first one. Non-institutional investors (NII) are allotted by a similar draw for the minimum application, and qualified institutions (QIB) proportionately. That is why the subscription figures by category say a lot about the odds.

      IPO allotment: frequently asked questions

When is IPO allotment status out?

Usually one working day after the issue closes (T+1), often in the evening. The Check button on this page appears by itself once the registrar has published it.

      What does "not allotted" mean?

Your application was valid but did not win in the allotment — for an oversubscribed issue, the lottery picked other applicants. The blocked amount is released to your bank account, usually by T+2.

The registrar says no record found for my PAN. Why?

Either the application was made with a different PAN, it was not placed (for example a UPI mandate that was never approved), or it was rejected — such as a second application from the same PAN. Check the bid in your broker or bank app.

How to check IPO allotment status for multiple PAN cards?

Yes. Save all of them on this page and one press of Check looks up every PAN for that issue. The list stays only in your browser.

Does applying for more lots increase the chance of allotment?

Not for retail investors in an oversubscribed issue: the lottery is per application, and each winner gets one lot. Applying from more family members' PANs — each with their own demat account — is what gives more chances.

When will the shares show in my demat account?

Allotted shares are credited on T+2, the day before listing. They can be sold from the listing day.
